What You’ll Be Doing
As a Shift Manager, you’ll take the lead in managing shift teams, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining top-tier safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Inspiring and Leading Your Team
- Supervise and motivate operators, technicians, and support staff during your shift.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to help your team thrive.
- Manage shift schedules, transitions, and tasks to ensure seamless operations.
- Build a positive, collaborative work environment that fosters morale and engagement.
2. Prioritising Safety and Well-Being
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
- Conduct regular safety checks, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
- Lead emergency response procedures and ensure proper use of PPE.
3. Driving Quality Excellence
- Ensure products meet the highest quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to resolve issues and maintain consistency.
- Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction with every order.
4. Delivering Results
- Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, safety, and quality.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement using lean methodologies to optimise efficiency.
What You’ll Bring

Desirable Skills:
- Experience in operations management or engineering.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH).
