I’m Moira Wilson, founder of moira”.

I’ve spent nearly 20 years working across recruitment and employability, helping businesses find the right people and supporting more than 1000 people into employment.

My experience has covered everything from individual and specialist vacancies to large-scale recruitment campaigns, giving me a pretty good understanding of recruitment from both sides of the table.

Why moira”?

I started moira” because I wanted to offer something different from the traditional recruitment agency model.

Something more personal, more straightforward and considerably more affordable.

I get to know the businesses I recruit for and the people I’m representing. I don’t send CVs just to make up the numbers and I won’t try to fit someone into a job that isn’t right for them.

Because good recruitment isn’t about finding a person.

It’s about finding the right person.

Borders based. Not Borders limited.

I’m based in the Scottish Borders and know the local employment market extremely well.

But recruitment doesn’t stop at the county line.

I work with employers and candidates across the UK and can search nationally for specialist and difficult-to-fill roles.
